ralphie's hateful soapbox

Apr. 30th, 2006 10:11 pm huhhh

This is starting to get a bit annoying. For the 3rd consective off day from the fire department, and the day I was recalled into work because of an off base wildland fire. All three day it was when I was gettign ready for my other job. So day 1 wasn't bad. So I couldn't go into my other job since I was actually fighting fire half the night. The second day off wasn't bad cause I only had to be at the station for a little bit so I didn't miss out on work and made osme good money that night. Today was recalled into work again. I wasn't even on a truck, but still I managed to get stuck there long enough where there was no point on going to my second job. They gave me the night off. Thankfully i have an understand second employer I suppose. I guess it works out well though cause I should get some needed rest. My 3 day break is over and will have to go back to the military job tommorow. sleep I shall go i suppose

this is quite funny. Especially because of my fascination with my friend's neighbor's pet. His name is captain and he is a spider monkey that runs around in his diaper causing crazy havock. Though because of his actions and his cold black stare i was convinced he was pur evil, but another story for another time

You Are A: Monkey!

monkeyMonkeys are intelligent and agile, well-adapted for jungle life as they swing happily from tree to tree. As a monkey, you are a social animal who prefers a warm climate, eats a wide range of food and is quick to learn new things. A monkey's tiny primate features are irresistable, as is his gregarious personality!

Withe the lust/pride thing; think the questions dont take some tings into consideration. i.e. I need to have a work out a lot because of my livelyhood/job. and the sports car thing, it just kind of fell into my lap so to say, but anyhoo:

Apr. 30th, 2006 12:13 am wow, disclaimer

I really haven't messed around with this site in a while. In the past is was pretty mucha cheap and efficent way to vent to the boys back home and not spend the money with endless calls and re-relaying the stories to each person. An as the story gets retold over and over, they tend to evolve and change. Just glancing at a few of the entries, it's jsut wow. It's almsot as if it's not me, the me now talking. Anyways, it just misappropiated rage going on there so don't take any of it to heart, or judge who I am now from how I was. It just shows some of the less favorable times I've been through.

Mar. 5th, 2006 09:32 pm dude check out my new pic

I was brousing around on patton oswalt's home page and found this pic that looked a lot like me. Perhaps the face is a bit chubbier than my usual self, but close enough for the amusing resemblance. Anyhoo... Out of bordom, you should check out the mr show site and go to the sites we like section. then click on the ask the republican site. It has some interesting videos to check out. the site is www.AskaRepublican.com. It's definately enjoyable for the sarcastic value.

sir charles pinto, i always knew/thought you were not into organized religion. but the demon is in my semean, and the hard on's bleeding (RHCP)....anyhoo i've decided it was a good idea that a) sit here tonite and b)traditional medicane has not done the trick so hence the jack and coke tagents. on another note i've been working on the two songs I've been doing great Karaoki (singin the songs). my two best (oddly enough) are everybody wants to rule the world and ziggy stardust

Oct. 8th, 2005 09:51 pm another attempt to raise the dead

where to begin where to end. i guess i'll start with the positive adn hopefully forget the negative.

movie reviews
lords of dogtown--great movie, and heath ledger reminds me of the next val kilmer, well's there's potential. hitchhicker's guide to the galaxy--alan rickman makes for the great unemotional robot and liked sam rockwell (as always. but can you name the movies of the earthling's girl???? last is straight to video "sept 8 tapes", about a guy who spent his entire worth to personaly worth to hunt osama bin laden. while watching it it may remind you a bit of blair witch, but the outcomes are A) more real, B)more fucked up, and C)did i mention real and fucking nuts

heard nothing new, great, etc...but new franz is respectible

the dude in lords of dogtown who was the first to bring out the polly-oil (forgive me for i can
t be bothered with proper spelling at this point) wheels was "the meat's" fav comedian mitch hedenburg right before he died.

i'm been sick for a few days. it's a cold.flu/plague. medicane isn't doling the job quite properly so going to grandpa's cough syrup (jack&coke) so hench the tanget

miss you all...love you all...cant wait to see you all.............

Aug. 23rd, 2005 11:37 pm ya uhhhh

So working 24 hrs every other day is not enough for me, i've decided to take on a second job. I'm now workon my off days as well (around 10 hrs every other day). I work at this resturant (big surprise) called Sam Choy's. It's located in the tourist district of Guam (Tumon) and deals primarilary with Japanese, Korean, and Chinese tourist (definated no akward moments at all). It's a high class, nice resturant with the cusine dealing the other culture's influence on the traditional hawaiian food; i.e japanese/hawaiian, phlipeano/hawaiian, etc...) Unlike my last stint in the resturant business, i'll be a server's assistant/food runner (actual position is esse', i'm sure the spelling's wrong). once I get through training i'll be getting 2.15/hr plus tip share (money every night around 40$), but now that i'm in trainign hopefully it's 5.15/hr. Like my last time in the food indursty everyone loves to party and there's a good share of your potheads. It's just refreshing working in the care free portion of the civilian world. like a breath fo fresh air. Other that and making staff/NCO (non comissioned officer), nothing else new going. miss you guys

Aug. 9th, 2005 05:43 pm staff sergent results tommorow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tommorow 10am guam time, the results will be released to the base. The commanders have had them since first thing monday morning (like everything else in this email i'm refering to guam time). I'm not gonna bullshit you guys, I'm a bit nervous. well actually anxious. as patient as i may be I hate the waiting game when it comes to things like this. My one buddy who just got here had his commander's brief today and found out that 50% of the base that's eligible made it. That's defiantely one last thing I wanted to hear. Especially if I didn't make it. Not to mention if i don't make it i'm stuck at work for the rest of the day hearing about who did mke it. Also, there's the having to hear all day long, oh did you make it. As if the "when you going to test question wasn't getting old enough, now I'll have to answer for this till next may untill I test again. It shouldn't matter though cause even though only like 40% of eligible made it this year, I felt I did good on the test, definately better than least year anyhoo here's to tommorow and being able to better afford my ride
